Acrylic and mixed media on canvas, in bespoke wooden whitewashed frame. 
 
My paintings usually begin with layers of collage- maps, poems or excerpts from books, as well as sand , papers or found materials. Onto this surface layers of paint , textures and intensity of colour are added which partly conceal the collage underneath.
