A linoprint carved this Spring, inspired by one of the regular bird visitors in our garden. I love the shapes and outlines of flowers and plants , and I sketched and included plants from last Summer's sketchbooks. This print includes sweetpeas background and the focal point is a blackbird on a garden chair.

My linocuts are handmade from start to finish, hand carved and handprinted. As is the nature of the handmade process they may have small variations. I feel this is part of the charm of printmaking and makes each print into both a unique artwork and part of a limited edition run.
